Nowadays in Taiwan, the younger generations have very limited interactions with the older ones. Yet due to multiple demographic factors, Taiwan will soon be a super-aged society. The relationship between community and individuals must therefore be revamped and restructured.
Social housing has recently become a hit subject in Taiwan. Blending in “Reminiscence Therapy” as a background to a space, as a way to empower the elderly, will echo the younger generations’ craze for vintages. We aim to integrate public facilities and intelligence systems and make them into sharing grounds of communities, redefining the experience of social residency.
