As a central element we designed a new font, which follows the Porsche lettering very closely, but having a significantly improved legibility.
The colors we chose, black and titanium, remind on the car brand as well and stress thus the technoid positioning of Porsche Design.
For the packaging we further developed a formal raster. It is spatially based on the proportions of the horizontal projection of Porsche’s model 911 (5:2) and conceptually on a consistent universal naming system. Every product appears in a package having a geometric form derived from the “original rectangle”. The identification number is always a four-digit number preceded by a “P”.
