My concept is based on the ETHIOPIAN COFFEE CEREMONY. An authentic brewing has all the stages of coffee making, it starts with roasting the beans, boiling it in a clay pot and ends with consuming it in 3 rounds, Abol, Tona and BARAKA which means ‘to be blessed’ as they say it takes 3 cups to transform the spirit. The ceremony takes us back to a time when value was given to human relations.
I focused on these virtues, used the trinity of their spirit transformation which I interpreted into our modern life. Brewing with Baraka starts with grinding the coffee beans in a mortar, then boiling it 2-3 times in the pot after serving it in 3 cups.
