Doltap Alarm
Doltap Alarm

Doltap Alarm is a unique living product with Korean culture. 'Doltap' means a stone-tower for Korean. It’s not surprising to find piled-up stone towers in mountains and temples of Korea. By shamanism of the past, these towers played their role as small temples, which pray for fortunes to natural deities. No matter how numerous religions are present nowadays, visitors to temples in mountains build stone towers to make a wish, or even for amusement. Thus, Doltap Alarm, decoration with morning alarm, was created. Stones are built up on the scale, which senses the set weight to stop the alarm.
