Children with hearing impairment have difficulties in learning how to speak. They cannot hear the appropriate tone and vibration of a voice, which leads them to take a long time in learning speech and have a difficulty in communicating. ‘Voice teacher’ acts as a language coach that helps the children with hearing impairment to learn correct modulation and pronunciation. The child reads text against ‘Voice teacher’ and the device detects the vibration from the voice and provides the child with a feedback. The child can learn how to speak more efficiently through repetitive practice and reception of feedback.
