This design considered the possibility of making a chair from cotton fiber of old cushion by imitating the rough texture and cutting of rock and mixing colors to respond to with dark jade. The design also finds out the possibility to present material texture.
Dark jade is a representative jade in Taiwan which was used for construction in early stage. It belongs to semi-jewelry and looks transparent and beautiful when sliced. The stone-shaped chair is inspired from it expecting to present the beauty of texture and cultures.
