An assembable chair with full ergonomic approach for home, work and business places.
A Triplay structure mixed with local materials is assembled by the user with a seccuity nut and screw system using common tools. The project combines two faces of production: technological, as the berch triplay sheets are routered via cnc; and rustic craftmanship, as cotton bands and tule palms (a local, softer version of ratan growing on Mexico City's periphery) are tightened for the backrest and seat upholstery. All of this means a cultural trade between local artisans and producers, who meet in single trips in a low-production and distribution rate.
