The "Monument of Friendship" (MdF) is an obelisk, built out of more than 5,000 bottles of Jägermeister in front of 216 LED panels with a surface of 120 m². We created a total of eight custom-built interactive modules for this installation, so that visitors of the "Kieler Woche" could interact with the obelisk in many different ways. Using web sockets, smartphones and kick-pads, users were able to control the installation's content and play with it. The Jägermeister obelisk is a digital construction paying tribute to friendship and furthermore celebrating it accordingly.
