ŠKODA is a brand in transition – and very successful in this process. Their cars are no longer just practical but also esthetically appealing. Driven by Design exhibits this new visual language in book form and is a new way to communicate design processes to a broader audience. Short texts establish a necessary content background. Quotes and headlines reflect the values of chief designer Jozef Kabaň. The layout of the book reflects this interplay, resulting in contrasting rhythms that make for an exciting read. Driven by Design forms the basis of ŠKODA’s design language, creating a book that is as unique as the vehicle design it represents.
