The P2418HT is Dell’s first anti-glare touch monitor. It adopts a new touch technology called “Advance In-cell Touch (AIT)”, which eliminates the need for a cover glass found in traditional touch monitors. This helps to reduce reflectance and power consumption while allowing a slimmer and lighter design. For outstanding usability, the P2418HT is engineered with an articulating stand with extended tilt and swivel capabilities since the touch screen monitor is primarily desk-bound and sits close to the user. Usage patterns differ significantly from traditional monitors, making user comfort and ergonomics critical considerations for this design.
