A.S.I / Urban Cohesion

Today, The Urban context of Tehran has entirely lost its cohesion. The main obstacle on the way to reconcile the urban cohesion is several highways which cut through urban context and prevent proper flow of non-vehicular movement in the city.
Archaeology of Spatial innovation is an attempt to find and recreate methods that were used to connect ancient Persian cities in a sustainable way and make it more livable which are forgotten now. The project investigates the key role that “Bazaar” performs to establish a connection between different land-uses and main functions in Iranian cities including Tehran in order to spread pedestrian movement.
