While people with impaired visibility cook, they struggle to learn if ingredients are sufficiently cooked or not. Therefore, they simply guess or use their hands to see if the food is ready. However, they can burn themselves or hurt easily. “Speaker Handle” is a cooking utensil for people with impaired visibilities. If you press a button, a camera will detect the doneness of ingredients and make sounds. Speaker Handle which measures the doneness of food is practical and convenient not only for the blind but also for everyone.
