Black-faced spoonbill / Appliances

Black-faced spoonbill
Black-faced spoonbill

The black-faced spoonbill is a large white wading bird with a distinctively shaped beak-looking like a spoon, or a 'pi pa' (Chinese musical instrument), migrating to Tainan every year. Applying the scene of the black-faced spoonbill searching for food along Qigu coastal areas to design the dining utensils, it presents idea of people looking for delicacies in the restaurant back and forth. Through the use of mechanics principles, utensils can be hung on the plates to remain tidiness. In addition, the vivid design of black-faced spoonbills creates a more interesting and popular atmosphere.
