Sunspot UV Monitor / Wearable Health Device

Sunspot UV Monitor
Sunspot UV Monitor

The Sunspot app and wearable UV monitor is an easy, reliable way for pilots of all ages and backgrounds to measure their radiation intake, have more informed conversations with their doctor, and live longer, healthier lives. Although airline pilots are twice as likely to suffer from skin cancer, they are not required to report their UVA/UVB intake.

As you input your skin type and flight schedules, the Sunspot application aggregates UV index data along your flight route, and creates a UV radiation “forecast” for you. As you fly, the wearable Bluetooth device records your UVA/UVB dosage, and prepares the data for you and your dermatologist.
