Icy Shell

Discipline: Packaging

Medication needs to be stored at a specific temperature.
“Icy Shell” is a special packaging for drugs that must be kept between 0 to 4 degrees Celsius.
The packaging consists of two symmetrical parts that hold the gel pack. The gel pack contains a special gel that maintains the cool temperature for 6 hours and prevents the medicine from any potential damage during transport.
The shape of the packaging is inspired by a shell that protects a valuable object.

Gel Pack is a simple and smart idea of keeping in specific temperature. This package also has expandibiltiy to other product.

We are so delighted to win the iF STUDENT DESIGN AWARD 2016. When I saw the winner's notification e-mail, my heartbeat started to accelerate and I was out of breath. This was the best thing that has happened to me in the past few years.
