MODERNIZATION OF TEA CULTURE
Korean tea ceremony is called Darye which means the way of receiving guests with tea. In darye, the color, scent and taste were considered the three major elements in evaluating tea. Accordingly, when appreciating tea, one first enjoys the color of tea with eyes. Then people enjoys the scent by lightly smelling the tea before taking a first sip.
On the basis of above elements Darye have some rules linked to number such as times and minutes.
These rules applied to tea set and expressed graphic design with straight lines.
