Scan-Mail Box is the only mailbox in the world with a scanner. When a mail carrier delivers letters into the mailbox, the built-in shaft would rotate to pull in and scan each letter. The scanned images are then sent to users’ cellphones so they can determine the source of the letter. Depending on the importance of the letters, users can then decide when they need to go pick up the letters, thus making mail-receiving process much more efficient.
