Accurate Thermometer / thermometer

Accurate Thermometer

The mercury column in the thermometer which is used for showing temperature degree is very thin. And many elderly people cannot read the degree clearly. Nomrally the temperature degree in the thermometer ranges from 35°C to 42 °C, while the range from 37°C to 39 °C is used most of the time. In our design, we intend to increase the readability of the degrees at the range of 37-39 °C. By reducing the cross-sectional area of the mercury column, the length of the mercury column doubles, so that the degree can be read more easily.
