Well is inspired by traditional water wells. It takes the principle of a simple wooden handle-mechanism with a winding rope. Thus changing the position of the bulb inside the glass container works like a bucket that is lowered into water. When the bulb is positioned low, the light appears in gradients of blue; when the bulb is positioned high, the light can vary from clear to sanded matte.
The glass containers were blown into a wooden mold. The handle parts are made of oiled maple and feature brass elements. The bulb socket is made of brass which makes it heavier and thus easier to lower or lift in a straight line. The textile cable references the ropes used for lowering and lifting buckets in real water wells.

Nice and poetical way to change the atmosphere.
