We did a Reporting Design class last year and picked the annual report of Beiersdorf for our case study. Beiersdorf is one of Germany‘s biggest producers of cosmetical and skin care products, led by the most famous and top-selling brand Nivea.

Our aim was to strenghten the personality and authenticity of Beiersdorf, as the existing annual report has a very unemotional, somewhat sterile look. We chose to use the term »Wertschätzung«, which is german for »Appreciation« or »Valuation«, as the report‘s title and leading motto. In literal sense, »Wertschätzung« can be used for both emotional and financial matters.
