sNail / input device


In order to resolve the problems of the uncomfortableness, we proposed sNail - A sensing technique design detects touch interactions by sensing the strain on user's fingernails. Due to fingernail lacking of perception, sNail decreases the uncomfortableness when wearing and enables everywhere touch input on any surface. This can be used to input on any surrounding surface like doors, tables, and even on-body inputs. User can use self-defined gesture on the glass to unlock the door without physical key cards.
