According to the statistics of WHO, there are three hundred seventy thousand people drowned every year. When maritime accident happens, rescue team have to operate a timely rescue to maximize the probability of survival. Our project focus on designing the rescue system with the application of the state-of-the-art Internet of things (IoT) technology. The system consists of four roles, downer, rescuer, floating balls, and quadcopter. With the four roles connected via Internet, we can detect the drowning of our users and automatically send notification to the rescue team; furthermore, kickoff the quadcopter to save.
