As technology progressing, mountain climbers carry more power-driven equipment than before. If any kind of accident happens, mobile phone will become one of the most important equipment for contact. In this case, sustainability of batteries would be an essential concern for climbers.
Advanced climbers use trekking poles to stabilize the pace. This design is to add shock equipment in the sticks, to reduce the reaction force in the same time converting kinetic energy into electricity. The energy produced after this reciprocation will be stored in the built-in lithium battery as back-up.
