We designed a series of home appliance (refrigerator, washing machine, TV, rice cooker and kettle) for the temporary housing where the people who survived in the Great East Japan Earthquake are living in.
In the temporary housing, limited space which is filled with miscellaneous supplies leads to low usability of normal home appliance.
In addition, people who was just affected by the earthquake had to bear a lot of pressure, especially that from health. They should get more health support in everyday life.
We focused on the usability and the demand of user, completed the design.
Our design aims to improve the quality of their life.
