Current measuring solutions for the visually impaired are difficult or unusable. We sought to create a solution that eliminated the guesswork of traditional methods. The measuring cup we designed slides up and down like a "push-pop" and clicks into place at every 1/4 cup. The measurements are indicated using raised bumps, and only the determined amount is allowed into the cup. This very simple solution provides a better way for people, impaired or not, to measure ingredients and enjoy cooking.
