Save Pink Dolphins / communication

Save Pink Dolphins

In the entire Pearl River Delta, pink dolphoins is estimated to be around 2,500. But opportunities to see these rare animals are becoming increasingly scare.
Pollution, obviously, is a main thing. The sewage in Hong Kong is seldom been treated. They dump about 400,000 cubic meters every day into the habor. Plans for another airport runway and a new bridge connecting mainland China and Macau could also further impact the dolphins, according to conservationists. The gov- ernment, however, says the plans were approved after they passed the reqired environmental impact as- sessment. Even the busy sea traffic leaves hefty scars on these creatures.
