Understanding IS-propaganda – a satirical approach.
The True TRAVEL-Magazine for Teenager tries to irritate by its cover, claiming to review the Islamic State as a destination of travel, speaking to young muslims. It´s actually meant to give people with islamophobic tendencies much needed information.
Lots of communication designers sell their talent to IS. I stole all background pictures and most of the visual elements from the IS-propaganda magazine DABIQ to do better: Propaganda, resolved into exaggerated elements of pop culture which the IS is desperately trying to use for its brutal cause.
