The connection principle is characterised by an easy and intuitive handling which is free from adhesives and metal parts. CNC milled and 3D printed.
The prototypes are configured as space dividers/storage units used for home and office furniture and display purposes.
Simple and fast assembly and disassembly without additional tools is the key issue of this self-jigging design.
A multiple setup and reconfiguration with space-saving attitudes in storage, transport and distribution of furniture components could provide future potential for the furniture market.
The connecting principle has been pre-registered as patent by RWTH Aachen University
