Muriel Jung / Sound system

Muriel Jung
Muriel Jung

Symphore is a sound system for the living area working by resonance characteristics of materials. Four different instrument materials are wall-mounted to a sculptural arrangement. Sensors on the back of each material plane translate the audio track into a vibration signal, which causes resonance vibration of the material and the spread of sound. The tone is much more authentic and natural than the sound of conventional speaker. The user has the opportunity to conduct the soundsystem by choosing the resonating surface independently via remote control and slips in the role of a choirmaster. Digital sound has never been more authentical.
