The backing of an average adhesive bandage needs to be removed carefully by hands.
It is possible that you may tear the sticky side apart. Or maybe your fingers touch
the sticky side and make it non-sticky. Or the bacteria on your fingers are spread to
the pad which is then covered on your wound. Therefore, stand adhesive bandage
comes into being. It can prevent infection caused by the bacteria on your fingers.
And even if one of your hands is hurt, it can be applied with justthe other hand easily.
