Legend of the Forest / Wine Packaging

Legend of the Forest
Legend of the Forest

Discipline: Packaging

Discipline: Packaging

The wine packaging is designed for Puli Distillery, based in Nantou, Taiwan. To combine the ancient legends of Nantou’s aboriginals with the packaging, I have visualized the characters from the legends with an air of mystery and have made them look as if shuttling about in the forest. There are two main elements in my project: shadow and watercolor. The shadow lends the characters a notion of mystery, while the watercolor makes them look alive. So, when people taste the wine, they can share a local story and, through this packaging, they will know more about the history of Nantou.

This design reflects local traditional storytelling, so it seems unique and high aesthetic design.
