Leth / Wearable Technology

The digital age has changed the relationship between stories and objects. These days the stories that we value are represented by digital files that can be manipulated at will. Technology has made it possible to disconnect the intangible story from the tangible object. Devices are diminished to tools for accessing these stories, rather than objects that become a part of them.
But what if we oppose this, and try to rebuild the relation between the object and story it tells? That is what Leth is: a pendant that seals off meaningful files, making them inaccesible, becoming a digital device that is deeply connected with the identity of its owner.
