“On pins and needles” provides uncomfortableness instead of comfortableness intentionally to remind the user that being active is acquired after a long-time sitting, in order to drive the user to cultivate a healthier habit.
The two faces of the chair are covered by two gasbags. In the beginning, the upper bag is filled with gas. When someone sits, the gas streams downwards to the lower bag since pressure. After a while, the majority of the gas fills the lower bag and the snugs will stimulate the user’s butt, so that the user will be reminded. Finally, the gas will back to the upper bag and the chair will restore the original form.
