The Hair Dancing of the Tao family in the flying fish season represents the beautiful ceremonies of
Taiwan's aborigines. The black and the white flying fishes chasing each other form a symbol of Tai-Chi, meaning "People cooperating with one another, help spirit and mutual communication are integrated into their culture.” The hands of Hair Dancing women shown as canoes, danced hand in hand to pray for their men to fish prosperously.
