Emerging from the pupa, in our nation, is described as reincarnation,
to start a new meaning of life. The design of this chair is hung in the
midair, leaving the user an unprecedented perspective.
Inspired by the natural cocoon, the egg-shaped curve of this chair,
and as well as its bottom made of resilient material support the entire
weight. As the real cocoon, it is hard outside and soft inside.
The cavity part symbolizes the rupture of a
chrysalis, which allows the user to explore this
new world vigorously; and it is the true spirit
behind this “Broken Pupa”.
