Ekzo / Wearable

Ekzo

Ekzo is anti-rape consent-confirming smart underwear. A password is inputted either via bluetooth or directly on the underwear, which sends a small electric current through the underwear's electroactive polymer bands making them contract or expand. So the underwear cannot be taken off without knowing the password, or exerting great force. In the latter case, the band breaks or detects the large force and an emergency signal with GPS location is sent out to the police and/or user-selected emergency contacts. With Ekzo, the wearer is more protected and the counterpart has evidence of consent.
