VARELLA / umbrella

VARELLA
VARELLA

Though the standard umbrella design has been around for 3,000 years, there are many problems still disturbing us. To solve the three main problems: hard to share, hold and store, VARELLA challenges the traditional umbrella design from following aspects. First, VARELLA uses origami skill to make the canopy changeable, which ensures it could be expanded for two people use. Second, with the special handle design, VARELLA helps people carry stuff and supports either one or two people holding at the same time. Furthermore, with disassembled structure, people are free to get rid of wet or broken canopy and change its appearance easily as they like.
