As the number of one-child families increases, the psychological health of them has evoked more and more attention, which inspires us to design a product to help the only child be better at understanding others’ emotion and thus have better interaction with others.
Research shows that the only child has greater emotional reaction to toys’ expression than to human beings’ expression. Taking this into consideration,
we decide to design a toy, which can change its expression as a response to children’s behavior, in order to help 2-6-year-old children from one child families develop a better emotional and behavioral interaction with others.
