The proposal made by Bruno de Souza Correa advisor to the students of the Design was to develop a general-purpose chair that could occupy a small footprint and have more than one function.
TUPI is a functional chair which has two functions: The very chair with back and seat, and a table and sitting on a padded at the bottom, this children position sit cross-legged as the Indians can support the table for school activities. We call TUPI chair of the project as it is a reference to the Brazilian Indians.
