My aim was to design dining room furniture with its aesthetics based on the construction. The visible joints and edges form a significant and decorative part of the design.
The furniture is made of birch multiplex boards using a 5 axis CNC cutting machine. The furniture is assembled without using glue, thanks to which it can be slot together or flattened for easy transport within a few mintes. Savings are therefore made on the material. The furniture is made from a board of a single thickness.
