The traditional scaling of measuring cups are straight line. Obviously, the straight line scale is useless when we pour, and it becomes a necessity to check the remaining amount upon level surface. Indirectly it forces us to repeating “stop pour, watch scaling, and then pour" over and over again to make sure the correct amount we want.
Being designed for this problem, there is a revolutionary volume scale on The Dotted Line, which is composed of two different types of volume scales, slashes and horizontal lines. Through their intersections, we can know the remaining amount in the cup in any condition. That is to say, this scale is functional
