Electricity is hard to come by in the mountains, so having no electricity to call for help in the event of an emergency is a serious problem. The Trekking Helper is a trekking pole that generates and stores electricity from the pressure of impact between the pole and the ground. At camping sites, the Trekking Helper becomes a lamp stand with a press of a button. The upper segment of the Trekking Helper can also be detached from the bottom and hung inside tents for lighting. In emergencies, the Treeking Helper can send distress signals with GPS coordinates using the electricity it has stored.
