FlipSide / Universal Design

It's difficult to imagine that homelessness exists in a country like Singapore. Due to the reluctance of the media and government to address this issue, the public is ignorant to this way of life. FlipSide, which is a bag that transforms into a mat, was designed using the Universal Design Principles; and aims to achieve better daily conditions for the homeless, and break the negative stigma attached to them. FlipSide is a hygienic sleeping solution that helps the homeless in Singapore to be less vulnerable to theft in a non-intrusive manner. It also communicates about the plight of the homeless to consumers.
