The Recording Grass is designed for the blind to record and playback information especially in the kitchen. When cooking, visually impaired people may get burnt when touching hot containers. The Grass is made of heat-resistant silicon rubber; blind people can clip it on pans, dishes, and pots to identify items with Braille codes on the tip or simply pressing the record/play button to record or playback messages without touching the food or containers. They can swipe through “Grasses” with hands and find where everything is. The Grass can be charged by “planting” them into a toaster-like power charger and will pop up when fully-charged.
