Inspired by Andy Warhol’s series “Flowers”, the project consisted in taking as a reference the movement in which the art work was created and also the fashion silhouette of that period. Using materials such as organza, blackout and suede, the look consists on a three-piece combination between a shirt, an embroidered skirt and a short dress.
To achieve the curves created on top, the patterning for the dress includes Shingo Sato’s techniques, and for the skirt underneath the dress every single flower has been sewn by hand creating the gradient visual effect.
