A temporary walk-in installation in terms of a mobile church. It creates a space where one can retreat and meditate. A delicate crystal as the smallest space of faith providing a sphere for thought and reflection. With the inflow of air the space unfolds and grows to a round form. This visualises the fleeting moment of transcendence as well as the archetype of life: the cell. Inspired by the geometric structure of church vaults, the membrane skin is composed of rhombic forms. This membrane consists of a pattern of filigree geometric lines which open upward, inviting the guest to gaze aloft, heavenward at the crowning rhombic star above.
