Yves Reinhard / Apartment design

Dear reader, my project tries to give one possible answer to the problem of increasing rents in most modern cities, which leaves the centers unaffordable and forces people to live in the suburbs. The idea is to use the unused gaps between buildings (unused for various reasons) to create affordable apartments to give people the possibility to live inside the city. In my opinion, nowadays, we tend to build big residential blocs outside the towns, but we forget the possibilities and the potential inside the city. Therefor I propose small, prefabricated, wooden boxes which can be placed in a short amount of time and contain everything necessary.
