Eco-Pulse / Digital Shower Control Unit

Eco-pulse is a smart digital shower control unit that makes the user aware of the amount of water consumed while showering.
The digital interface on top of the sliding and turning knob is intelligent, yet easy to understand: using a clear rising water animation and numbers, the interface indicates how many liters the user has consumed. An elegant solution to keep users aware of their water consumption. One minute of constant showering equals 10 liters of water. When 10 liters have been consumed, the water flow will pulsate for one second while a white ring around the interface will light up to subtly remind the user about the amount of water consumed.

This little water control terminal provides users with a self-explanatory operating experience. The water saving concept is another product highlight.
Jury Statement
It means a lot to me to win the HAIER DESIGN PRIZE 2016 by iF with my concept Eco-Pulse. I never thought I would get this kind of recognition. When I heard that my concept was one of the ten winners, I was truly delighted that I took part in this competition!
