Nang Sabai / Resting furniture

Nang Sabai
Nang Sabai

Inspired by Thailand aesthetics, Nang Sabai is a furniture designed for resting that is being made from mango wood. Although Mango wood is widely used in Thai cuisine, however it is rarely used in Thai design therefore the rationale for using mango wood is to give contemporary furniture a new surprise. Designed on an elevated platform, Nang Sabai is able to provide a state for tranquility and peacefulness for the user.

In Thailand context, the word Nang Sabai often translated as “sit back and relax” because the Thai society values taking it easy as an ideal way to be.
