Grit utensils are processed through extracting beak elements of traditional utensils combined with geometrical aesthetics and endowed with modern sense. To highlight grit utensils in the market, tea set is used as a design reference. Mold slip casting and traditional handicraft are used. Difficult craftsmanship is used for modeling and the value of craftsmanship is highlighted. Both changes of lifestyle and impacts from modern utensils affect continuous inheritance of this ancient material heritage, and it is a decline which not only makes traditional skills and culture lost, but also gradually deprives the living skills of local resident
